Ankaragucu finally found their shooting boots today with a thumping 4-0 win at Bucaspor to send them top of the league.

A good win for Ankaragucu today in Izmir as the team returned to the capital with the 3 points thanks to goals from Mehmet Yildiz, Omer Bozan, Hasan Ayaroglu and Sertan Vardar.
Mehmet Yildiz finally got the monkey off his back with his first goal of the season, and hopefully that will lead to him kicking on banging the goals in on a weekly basis. The three attacking players who play off Yildiz all chipped in with goals with Sertan, Hasan and Omer showing how important they are to the team.
Tokatspor lost at Kartalspor and Manisaspor drew with Ankara Demirspor meaning Ankaragucu returned to top of the league. Next up is an away match at Inegolspor this weekend with the team going into that match full of confidence.
A great result and hopefully it heralds the turning point in Ankaragucu's season.
ReplyDeleteThey now have to push on and go on a long winning streak (similar to the one being enjoyed by Hibs !!!) and put a marker down to the other teams that Ankaragucu intends to go up to the PTT League as Champions.
The acid test will be on Saturday if they can replicate this performance and bring back another 3 points.
