It could be a very frustrating season

First touches were missing and two open chances squanded. asdfghj

Genclerbirligi 1 - 1 Karabukspor

More horses than supporters.
Bloody hot here in the capital but that did mean that we enjoyed an ice-cold refreshment at the Alerta beforehand. The Passolig system is slowly but surely destroying us Gencler Kankas. Just Spine and me today.

Passolig is also destroying the Gencler crowds. I'd guess at a couple of thousand last night.

Anyway, just as we were trying to figure out who our new players were... and also getting used to the new black strip, one of our more familiar players, Ahmet Oguz, buggered up at the back, the ball was passed on and Karabuk found themselves one nil up after just two minutes.

errrgghhhh

Slowly we came back into it and we managed an equaliser from a well taken free-kick from Khalili.

It was fairly even for a while but we lacked a certain something. As we made changes the team seemed to play strategically better but as Spine pointed out it doesn't seem as if Umit Ozat really knows who his first 11 should be.

We probably should have won it. In both halves we had real scoring opportunities but fluffed them. Karabuk had one almost certain goal hit the post.

In the end though the game ended with us attacking and some real sloppy first touches had the crowd groaning in frustration. It won't be the last time this season.
