ANKARAGUCU HOMING-IN ON TWO FOREIGN PLAYERS

Greetings Kankas and Kankies.

As reported in The Hurriyet this morning, Ankaragucu is homing-in on finalising deals with two more foreign players.

Bellshill Kanka Nadeem and I have mentioned the Brazilian, Geovanni of Hull City, last week and it is reported that Ankaragucu is close to finalising a deal with him.

It is also reported that Danish International, Dennis Rommedahl of Ajax, has been approached with an offer which he is considering.

Rommedahl was a member of the Denmark Squad in South Africa. He is a 32 year old right winger who has had a successful stint with Ajax.

More on these possible moves when the details are known.

All the best from Eski Kanka Jim

hello Jim - i think Geovanni would be a good signing but Rommedahl is past his best imo and would be a waste, We should look at younger talent.

Does anyone know when the fixtures for the new saeason are announced ? im looking to get my flights booked for my next trip in october

  3. still there is no clarity in respect of transfer since uğur's move is completed.

geovanni is said to come to an agreement with our board yet couldnt go beyond of becoming a rumor.same applies to rommedahl speculation.

i guess rommedahl would be a nice tackle if you consider our destituteness at his prime mission position(right winger) on account of idiot mehmet çakır !!!

but i beleive we do not need someone like geovanni if you keep a playmaker at your team in the present , i.e. marek sapara and bilal kısa.

thanks oz kanka, im looking forward to them coming out.

Celine - i agree with you re Cakir, from what ive saw im not impressed. I still think we should go for someone younger and more talanted than Rommedahl

  6. Haven't heard anything about a connection between Caner Erkin and Ankaragucu.

According to Google, he's registered with Fenerbahce.

  7. caner is off to fenerbahçe.
once you consider his incapability as a left back and our magnificent(!) coach ümit özat's primitive and obsolete playing mentality , i acknowledge that move as a narrow escape for the health of our team.
