Ankaragucu 0-3 Sporting Lisbon !

Well Ankaragucu were brought crashing back to earth as we lost 3-0 to Portuguese side Sporting. After our 15-0 win yesterday the team found the step up in class difficult as dreadful defending and goalkeeping saw us loose our latest game in Holland.

A first half striker from Helder Postig and Pentaly from Ricky put Sporting 2-0 up and another penalty this time form Rubio made it three. Ozgur Cek and Ozden Ongun were at fault for the penalties and the defence left Postiga unmarked at a corner.

Our defence continues to be a problem and unless we bring in 2 Quality players before the season starts then it could be another difficult season.

Team Line Up

Ozden

Ugur Rajnoch Aydin Ozgur

Turgut Adem Theo Tonia

Fatih Ergin

Subs: Bayram, Ediz, Bilal, Ishak, Santiago, Jose, Gokhan

Hopefully by the time we play another class side, ie, Moenchengladbach, Guven will be added to the defence, Sapara will be in midfield and Sestak will be up front. That may well make a big difference me thinks !

  2. Yeah, but now Trabzon really wants Rajnoch, so unless some teams are relegated for match fixing, I think we are in deep, deep trouble.

You are right to be concerned about the possibility of Rajnoch departing Damon. Can we rely on The Gokceks to make it worth his while to stay ? Don't answer that !!!!

Interesting that the TFF, Fener, BJK, etc thingie made it into the BBC News tonight (19 July) on the Sport Today bit. Things are hotting up !!! C'mon TFF .... make a decision !!!

  4. i agree with Damon, we could be in trouble if we loose him. But we need to bring defenders in, after our troubles last season we still havent brought any defenders in.

The TFF will receive evidence tomorrow so it could get interesting

Super Lig won't start before the end (!?) of August.
