Bang head on wall

Everything was going swimmingly and then Genclerbirligi shipped three goals in the last 10 minutes. Pathetic.

You couldn't say we were in tip-top shape. The rugby of the day before, or should I say the refreshments that we consumed whilst watching the rugby... and then continued to consume well after the rugby, had pretty much destroyed Spine and I. We ain't as young as we used to be.

Genclerbirligi for much of the first half were exactly the same. Meh.

Second half and a piece of individual brilliance from El Kabir put us ahead. El Kabir was on the goal line with the ball about to go out when he performed a "Rabona" which was sent perfectly onto the head of Tosic who simply put it in.



It looked like this would be enough. But at the end we went to sleep completely. Three bloody goals in the last 10 minutes. Most of the crowd at the Sudem walked out in disgust. I don't think we sold it. I just think we were rubbish.

Speaking of rubbish, referee Cuneyt Cakir had an absolutely terrible performance. There was a clear red card not given and then later a clear handball in the box. No penalty given. If either of the decisions had been given I reckon the result could have been completely different.
