Anton Putsila was today granted his license to play with Ankaragucu and has joined the team for training. The Belarusian International is a huge coup for the club having played for Hamburg and Freiburg in the Bundisliga, while also playing under İsmail Kartal at Gaziantepspor.
Capped 50 times for his country the 30 year old plays in the number 10 position and is seen as the key playmaker in the Ankaragucu midfield. Having watched the match with Erzerumspor he is exactly what the team was missing.
Lanre Kehinde is yet to receive his licence and his move has still yet to be completed but the club are hopeful it will be done in the coming days.
Putsila will probably prove to be our saviour this season, and as I said on fb, I anticipate him wearing the captain's armband before too long. We have been crying out for a midfield general for years, and here he comes !!!! Look forward to seeing him in action in the sari/lacivert !!!
