Hibernian Ladies kept up the pressure on their rivals last weekend with a hard earned away win 4-2 against Aberdeen Ladies. The Hibernian Ladies are quite clearly unwilling to give up their Premier League Trophy !!
Attention now turns to the Premier League Cup Final which takes place tomorrow night, Thursday 30 November, against Edinburgh Ladies. The Hibernian Ladies will obviously start favourites, but I'm sure their manager will have warned them to take nothing for granted in a local derby match, especially as it is a Cup Final.
Watch this space for the result as soon as I have it.

It is with sadness and disappointment that I learned today (5 December) that Hibernian Ladies lost the League Cup Final to Edinburgh Ladies by 4-1.
ReplyDeleteHaving read the report there can be no argument about the worthy winners, and good luck to them.
Now the girls will have to re-focus back to league business and the task of retaining their title.
Later in the season they will have the opportunity of also trying to retain the Scottish Cup which they won last year.
