Antalyaspor eye up move for Ankaragucu duo !
According to the Hurriyet newspaper, High flying Super Lig side Antalyaspor have made offers for Ankaragucu forwards Timur Ozgoz and Hasan Ayaroglu. It is believed that both players will see out the season with Ankaragucu before moving at the end of the season. Genclerbirligi are also interested in Timur who is believed to prefer to stay in Ankara.
Hasan Ayaroglu broke onto the seen last season at the age of 17, a string of impressive performances has saw him stay in the squad this season. Like any young player he has struggled with consistency this season and needs to work on the physical side of the game. He was rewarded with a call up to the Turkish International youth side last month.
Timur has along with Umit kurt been the clubs best player this season and is the clubs leading goalscorer. It took Timur just over 2 years to break into the first team since his move from Tennis Berlin. A couple of loan spells at Bugsas Spor and BFC Viktoria came before Timur broke into the Ankaragucu side this season. As the weeks have went past, Timur has improved every week and its no wonder that teams from the Turkish Super Lig are keeping tabs on him and Hasan.
Hopefully Ankaragucu can hold onto both players until the end of the season. The best scenario would be that both help the club stay in PTT League before moving on to further their career. It would be great to keep both players but that all depends on who comes in as the new management at the end of the season and if we can afford to keep them.
