Now Hasan Cetinkaya goes

Some of you may know Hasan Cetinkaya, he was the general manager at Genclerbirligi and was shafted a while ago by Ilhan Cavcav. Cavcav was forced to re-employ him when it was learnt that without him we would have failed various Uefa regulations... this was all very confusing and I'm not sure I understand the exact legal position.

Anyway, Hasan is a great bloke who has stuck by Gencler for a number of years but then today I learnt from the Anatolian news agency that he is leaving, off to be the general manager at Gaziantepspor.

Another loss for Gencler. And of course this may mean we shall never hear from Zagreb Kanka again.

    Yes, agreed.

    Oz Kanka and I met him for the first time at the German Embassy World Cup Bash last year.

    A real gentleman who will no doubt be a serious loss to Gencler. However, what does Mr Cavcav care about quality people ??!!
