The draw for the
5th Round of the Turkish Cup was made yesterday, and a mouth watering
tie for Ankaragucu, especially if you have a few free weekday days to travel
south to the magical Aegean Sea !

GENCLERBIRLIGI v
Hatay
It is not clear yet
of the exact dates of the ties, but what is known is that half of the ties will
take place on 4, 5 and 6 December, with the remainder taking place on 18, 19
and 20 December. I’ll post exact dates
here when known.
A win for both
teams would see them into the last 16 where they will be up against stronger
opposition, but that’s the name of the game in Cup footie. What we can hope for is a home tie in the
next round and to go as far as possible in the Competition, which is not only
good for the players and Club, but for the supporters to hope for a chance of
celebrating winning some silverware !!
Bring it
on. However, firstly, we have to take
care of Beshiktrash tonight and keep the Ankaragucu show on the road. Genclerbirligi is playing away against
Istanbulspor this afternoon.
