Sorry for no updates on the Gencler match from the other day but my computer blew up. It didn't quite blow up but it seems the hard drive crashed. Luckily I had backed up lots of photos and stuff but I may have lost quite a bit. Arrrrggggghhhhhhhh. Bloody technology.
Mmmmmm, as we say in Turkey, Gecmisolsen Oz Kanka !!
It is not often that Oz Kanka loses his cool, but, that aaaarrrrrggggghhhhh was pretty heavy stuff for him !!!
I have no details about the Rize v Gencler match except to say that Gencler scored the winner with a penalty near the end.
As I mentioned in my previous post, Gencler has drawn Fener...spit...bahce in the quarter final and the match will be played in Istanbul on Tuesday 30th January KO 8pm.
I'm not sure if it is just one match or home and away, but I'm sure Oz Kanka will tell us when he has cooled down and fixed his hard disk.

ReplyDeleteThey will be played home and away, and the away goal rule will be implemented in the event of a draw over the two legs.
Don't have a date for the 2nd leg yet, but it will no doubt be posted by Oz Kanka in due course.
